| • | Device Categories were previously called Tiers |
| • | The Device Category amount changes annually and a separate record is added for each year as part of the annual OHS contract maintenance. HearAid 5.0 will select the appropriate amount for a claim depending on the Fitting Date |
| • | Tiers 1A, 2, 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D are obsolete, tagged Inactive (and so will not appear in lookup lists for new devices and claims) and should not be used when adding new devices or claims |
