Pure Tone Audiometry
The Toolbar:

| • | Clear Results removes all results for the current page |
| • | Copy L » R copies all result from the left ear to the right ear |
| • | Import PTA allows audiograms exported from GNOtometrics/Madsen Aurical Plus, Interacoustics Affinity, MedRx Avant or NOAH 3 XML to be imported into HearAid. Please note that the MedRx Avant export file does not include "masked" or "no response" tags, so the imported audiogram will carry that information |
The Work Area:

The work area consists of a Results Table and the Audiogram. To enter Pure Tone results
| 1. | Press Ctrl+Insert on the keyboard, or click Edit on the work area toolbar |
| 2. | Either directly key numbers into the table, or Point-and-Click on the audiogram |
| • | When clicking in the audiogram, holding down the Ctrl key will toggle "Masked" |
| • | Holding down the Shift key will toggle "No Response" |
| • | The symbols used are determined by the setting of the Left AC/Right AC/Left BC/Right BC radio buttons below the audiogram |
| 3. | Press Ctrl+S on the keyboard, or click Save Changes on the work area toolbar |
| • | Tick the Baseline box if this audiogram is to be used as the baseline reference for future industrial assessments |
| • | The Percent Loss is calculated automatically using the NAL (1988) formula |
| • | The Classification is calculated on the basis of the Industrial Screening rules in Options |
| • | If the Cursors box is checked, dotted lines display the frequency and intensity corresponding to the mouse position (similar to NOAH) |
| • | The OHS Fitting Criteria panel shows whether the audiogram meets the Minimum Hearing Loss fitting criteria specified by the Office of Hearing Services. The minimal hearing loss criteria are also used to warn users when claiming for fittings |

| • | If the Cursors box is not checked, the mouse cursor is a cross-hair and a hint box displays the frequency and intensity corresponding to the mouse position |

| • | The audiogram title and the intensity labels change, depending on the selected dB Units and whether the Free-field, Binaural and Aided boxes are checked |
