Once you have connected to the internet, you are in Medicare's hands! If connection is slow or you have other problems within the default external browser, it is not due to a problem with HearAid! Connection issues are not uncommon...

Click Connect To Medicare to open your computer's default web browser e.g. Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and HearAid will navigate to the Medicare web site you have set in Tools|Options|e-Claims|Medicare Web Address (URL)

OHS/Medicare provide authorised users with instructions on how to access the Medicare web site, upload batch files and download response files
When you first connect to the Medicare web site you must Logon by clicking on the Logon link as shown by the mouse cursor in the screen shot
You must logon by uploading the Authentication file provided by Medicare, then enter your Medicare user name and password

Once you have completed your business on the Medicare web site, it is strongly recommended that you click the Close button on the Medicare web

Once Medicare has processed a batch file it makes a Response File available for you to download.
